FCE seeking quilt, handcraft entries for Sept. 27-29 show

Aug. 23, 2019 -- The Sequatchie County FCE (Family Community Education) Council is hosting a quilt show Sept. 27-29 at the Fair Building on Heard Street in Dunlap.

"We wish to show quilts and hand crafts done by members of FCE, members of our community, and the surrounding areas," FCE spokesman Sharon Erland said today.  "Anyone can enter a quilt or hand craft.  There is no limit on age or type of quilt (old or new; displayed previously or not) any and all quilts and crafts are welcome. You can also show unfinished quilts, quilt blocks, wall hangings, etc."

Quilters of any age are encouraged to show off their work at the quilt show.

Entries should be taken to the Fair Building Sept. 27.

On Saturday, Sept. 28, all exhibits will be on display 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  Everyone is invited to come view quilts and handcrafts, for a donation of $3.

"Viewer's Choice" will receive a small prize.
