Grand Jury indicts Paul Coffman on 1st degree murder charge

Feb. 1, 2019 – The Sequatchie County Grand Jury has returned an indictment charging Paul David Coffman, Jr., with 1st degree murder in the shooting death of Logan Dewayne Lepard on Lewis Chapel Sept. 8, 2018. Both men were 21 years old at the time.

Lepard's survivors include his wife, Kayla, and son, Kingston.

Coffman, who now is 22, lived at 5398 Henson Gap Rd., which is where the shooting took place.  He is being held without bond at the Sequatchie County Jail and is scheduled for his next court appearance in two weeks.
